Hello friends!

I'm the wedding photographer for the adventurous couple that wishes to exchange their vows in the most sacred of settings. The great outdoors!

I also created an e-book for fellow photographers who are interested in learning how to shoot in manual-mode! Check it out below. :) It's free!

Andrea + Pascal // Millcreek Ravine Engagement

A RIVER VALLEY SUMMER ENGAGEMENT // EDMONTON, ALBERTA

Andrea and Pascal chose the beautiful Millcreek Ravine as the backdrop for their engagement session. We started at Argyll park and made our way down into the forest trails. These trails hold a few hidden gems! The footbridges are very beautiful and impressive and without going out and exploring the area yourself, you wouldn’t even know they existed!

This engagement session was also very special and unique for another reason – Andrea and Pascal chose to save their very first kiss for their wedding day! As photographers, we often fall back on kissy photos to show the love between our couples. Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with a good kiss photo, but there are so many other ways to show emotion and love in a photo! I loved the mini-challenge this session gave me and the twist it gave me instead of sticking to my “normal” posing routine. I’ve carried this session and poses at the back of my mind at every other engagement or couple’s session I’ve done since! It’s good to change it up once in a while (even just a small change).
