A Canadian Rockies Mountain Top Adventure Photo Session // Jasper National Park, Alberta
About month and a half back, I got in touch with Caity about organizing this Jasper National Park adventure session with her man. We didn’t even get to meet each other before hand and that might seem crazy to some, but I just had a feeling that everything would juts work out peachy. So when May 22nd rolls around, Tori (a fellow photographer friend!) and I head out on our one day Jasper road trip. I’m super happy that Tori was able to join for this trip – she offered to shoot some new headshots for me and it was so much fun just hanging around the quaint little town of Jasper with her. The 4 hour drive back home at 10:30pm was also so much less painful with someone in the passenger seat! ;)
When Caity and Mac arrived later that evening for their shoot, we hiked to the top of Old Fort Point to get the best views possible. On the way up, we saw some big horned sheep and a cow (ok welllll the cow was an optical illusion, but it sure fooled us all!!). We hung out at the top to capture some photos and to soak in the spectacular panoramic views.
Just as we made it back down, the sun decided to poke it’s head out, so without hesitation, Caity and Mac jumped in the water (that must have been like 2*!) for a water fight! I don’t know how they lasted in the water that long… I had to jump in for a minute to get the shot and couldn’t feel my legs!
Soaking wet and freezing, they got changed into cozy sweaters and we finished the session right as the sun was setting behind the mountains with some sparklers.
Caity and Mac (uh, I mean Barb *inside joke guys, sorry*) thank you so much for being troopers! ♥
