Why I chose to rebrand and what you can expect

 

Hi friends. Welcome to my new look! I hope you like it. :)

It’s like the cereal boxes always say… New look, same great taste!

I made the decision to change my branding in February and since then the ideas and sketches have been rolling around in my head. I wasn’t unhappy with what I had created before, I just felt like it didn’t represent who I REALLY was and where I really wanted to go anymore. I had made those branding decisions in the early stages of my business when things where still grey for me. But my goal for 2017 was to really focus on what direction I wanted to take my business – and this is where it has taken me! Emilie Smith Adventure Photography.

Why Adventure Photography?

Well, I’ve always loved being outdoors and doing all kinds of activities like hiking, camping and canoeing. So why shouldn’t my personal brand represent those aspects of myself too? Now they do. I’ll be sharing a lot more about my adventures and I’ll also be sharing tips and ideas to plan your very own adventurous wedding or elopement!

A note to my current clients

Please don’t you fear if you feel like you don’t fit 100% in this new “category”. I still love you! I’m not doing a u-turn here, I’m simply veering right (Does that analogy make sense?!?! It does in my head at least…). This rebrand only means that I’ll be sharing more of myself and catering towards that niche in the wedding industry more so in the future. You can still expect the same level of attention and TLC that I’ve previously promised!
